Girls Who Code HQ is the official platform for the Girls Who Code programs. HQ is where our members can find Girls Who Code’s unique computer science curriculum, coding activities, and more.

How to Register for HQ as a Program Facilitator?
If you are a Program Facilitator, you should register for an HQ account using the same email you used for your Programs application. You should receive your Club Code via email. After you Join Your Club, you should be asked to confirm your email so that you can access information on administering your Program and curriculum.
How to Register for HQ as a Student?
If you are a member of a Girls Who Code Program, you will receive your Club Code from the Program Facilitator. You will then register for an account and join your club to access all of the activities on Girls Who Code HQ.
Just been invited to HQ?
Click the link in the invitation email to set your HQ password. You will then go directly into your program.
Logging into Your HQ Account:
Go to the HQ Log In page to access your HQ account by logging in with the email and password set up in the registration process.
Forgot Password Link:
Forgotten passwords can easily be reset by selecting the “Forgot Your Password?” link on the HQ Log In page. An email will be sent to the email address used to register your HQ account with instructions on resetting your password. NOTE: If you are unable to access email to reset your password, please contact Girls Who Code (email@example.com)
View Profile Link:
You can make changes or updates to your HQ account by going to the “View Profile” link located at the top right of the HQ Home page (click the arrow next to your Name). There you can update your Personal information, Parental information and Security (change your password).
Program Activity Link:
You can view your Programs facilitator(s), Student roster (for facilitators only), phone numbers and Program Contact information by going to the Program Activity link on the View Profile page.
The HQ menu is located on the left side of the HQ Home Page. There you can post/view Program Announcements, administer Program Curriculum (Facilitators), complete Program Curriculum (Students), join additional Programs or change Programs (members of multiple clubs only).
Announcements are the easiest way to communication within your Program. It is open to both Facilitators and Students and can be accessed by selecting the “Announcements” link on the HQ menu and then selecting the “Post Message” button. Facilitators have the option to email the Post to the group. Images can also be included with your post. Anyone can make comments to a post. NOTE: Only Club Facilitators have the option to Turn On/Off the Announcements feature by selecting “Turn Off Announcements” on the HQ Home page.
The Bell icon at the top of your HQ Home page will show any unread posts made since you last logged into your account.
Reporting an Inappropriate Post:
Girls Who Code will not tolerate inappropriate postings (see our Community Guidelines). To report such posts, select the “More Options” icon (3 dots) and “Report this post”. An email will be sent to the Girls Who Code Programs Admin to further review the post.
Club members & students:
Standard Club/Mini Club Curriculum:
The Club members will access either the Standard Club (15-week) or Mini Club (10-week) curriculum materials by selecting the appropriate link on the HQ menu. The Club facilitator will let you know which curriculum to use during the course of your Club.
Summer Immersion Program (SIP) curriculum:
Students will access the SIP curriculum by selecting the appropriate Unit link on the HQ menu. The instructors will let you know which unit to use during the course of your summer immersion program.
Campus Session Guides:
Students will access the Campus curriculum by selecting the “Session Guides” link on the HQ menu. Pick the day of the program to see lessons.
Facilitators & Teachers only:
Facilitator Toolkit (for Clubs only):
The Facilitator Toolkit provides the Club facilitator with all the information needed to get their Club started. To access the toolkit, select the “Facilitator Toolkit” link on the HQ menu. You will want to make sure to review the “Getting Started” information and fill out “Your Club’s Launch Questionnaire” before reviewing the other helpful information provided in the toolkit.
Teacher Training & Pre-Work Guides (for Campus only):
The Teacher Training & Pre-Work guides help prepare the Campus instructors with all the necessary training to teach the Campus curriculum. To access these guides, select the “Teacher Training & Pre-Work” link on the HQ menu.
Instructor Toolkit (for Campus only):
The Instructor Toolkit provides the Campus instructors with all the information needed to administer the Campus curriculum. To access the toolkit, select the “Instructor Toolkit” link on the HQ menu. You will want to review the “Program Launch Checklist” before reviewing the other helpful information provided in the toolkit.
